About Eldoraigne Blinds and the way a window job runs here

Eldoraigne Blinds is a window service for established Centurion stands and the newer estates around them. No shelf stock: everything is made to the dimensions taken off your own openings and fitted by the team that measured them.

Made for older, bigger windows

Eldoraigne is one of Centurion's established suburbs: large stands, mature gardens and predominantly face-brick homes from the seventies and eighties, most of them single-storey or split-level with original steel-framed casement windows set in deep brick reveals. Those openings were not built to today's standard sizes, the single-pane glass lets more heat and glare through than a modern window, and a new generation of families is renovating room by room, often adding wide stacking doors at the back. A standard off-the-shelf blind solves none of that, which is why every window here is measured on site before anything is quoted.

The range runs from roller blinds in blockout, sunscreen and double day/night fabrics, through venetians, cellular honeycomb blinds, vertical and panel blinds, concealed blinds and skylight systems, to motorisation, external venetians, roller shutters used as shading, folding-arm awnings and zip screens. Repairs to blinds already fitted are part of the service too.

Eldoraigne first, then the suburbs beside it

The same service reaches four neighbouring areas, each with its own brief. Raslouw, just west, is converting from smallholdings into secure new developments where a full house of windows goes in at once. Southdowns Estate, toward Irene, has newer architecture with large glazed openings flowing onto covered patios and aesthetic guidelines for anything visible from outside. Centurion Golf Estate is fairway-facing glass that wants sun control without losing the view it was built for. Irene runs a heritage village core of sash and casement windows alongside newer estate sections. We quote all of them the same honest way: measure first, then recommend.

How the job runs, in one direction

Your enquiry arrives through the form or the chat on this site, with the rooms, the product interest and roughly when you would like it done. One of our expert consultants will contact you shortly to line up a free in-home measure. That visit is where the real work happens: every opening measured accurately, samples held up in the room's own light, and fabric, openness and control matched to the elevation each window faces. The consultant also checks the five things a guide cannot settle: reveal depth, what the frames and fixings will hold, the patio's true wind exposure, where motor power can run, and your estate's colour and profile rules.

A written quote comes back with each option listed against the window it belongs to, and the lead time for your specific job is confirmed in that quote rather than guessed. Once you approve it the blinds are manufactured to those measurements, then hung level, tested on the day and shown to you working before anybody leaves.

Specified for the Highveld, not a catalogue

Three local facts shape most quotes. The west elevation takes low, hot afternoon sun from about three in summer, straight through original glazing, so that is the one wall where stopping heat outside the glass beats anything hung inside. The November to March hail and thunderstorm season turns exposed patios, skylights and west glass into a real risk, so exterior shading is motorised and wind-sensed as standard. And child safety is built in: chain and cord tensioners anchor every loop to the wall, wand-tilt and cordless options are there for nurseries, and motorisation removes cords altogether.

What we will not do

We will not quote from a phone call or a photograph; real per-window pricing comes from the measure and arrives in writing. We will not call a roller shutter a security product, because the ones we fit are shading for the outside face of the glass, and we will not sell a product the room does not need: where a cheaper interior blind is the smarter call on a small west window, or a repair beats a replacement, we say so. If a product is wrong for the room, you will hear it from us before you order.

Reaching us

Use the enquiry form on any page or the on-page chat, which answers product and area questions at any hour. An enquiry books a free in-home measure with no cost and no obligation. Under POPIA, enquiry and chat details are used only to arrange that consultation call-back and are never shared beyond it.
