Yes — it’s most of what we measure here. Inside-mount blinds sit tailored and minimal but need enough recess depth; where a recess is shallow, uneven or non-standard, outside mount usually gives better coverage and can make the window feel larger. We check this on-site, not from a phone call.

Roller shutters give exposed glass and doors a genuine physical barrier for highveld hail season, and awnings and zip screens should always be specified with a wind sensor so they retract automatically before a gust does damage. We’ll flag exposed positions at the measure.
